NXT is a different brand of wrestling than SWA's current product. Not only will NXT bring in new stars fresh from SWA's wrestling school, Area 52, but with fresh stars looking to be noticed in the wrestling world, NXT promises to be more intense and aggressive as it's roster fight for recognition.
This is an exciting project which gives SWA's training school a garunteed outlet for it's advancing trainee's. Area 52 has unleashed stars such as Falcon, Darren Lewis and Scott Renwick into the wrestling world, men who are all now championship contenders. Thats only a few in a long list of sucsess stories SWA's facility has had which goes to show that NXT's debuting talents will continue to provide quality entertainment.
The official announcement can be read here.
As the above article states, SWA's Bellshill and Clydebank shows will continue as normal while After Hours and NXT will venture into new smaller venues to create their own identity. This means that you will have even more live Scottish wrestling from SWA as we add NXT and after Hours to our regular schedule!
